To summarize the "acknowledging the lizard" section, this section goes into detail about how the lizard in theory is the part of your brain that acts against you in a way. I would compare it to the red side of your consciousness.

To summarize the "make art" section, it talks about how there aren't any rules to art and how it's not like math or science with boundaries. In art there are some limits, but limits tend to get pushed all the time because it's not law.

I think when you just "make art" you tend to have a lot better results creatively and naturally. It's good to have an organized plan but you don't have to exactly follow everything, just simply make art. An example could be in our video project group I kind of conflicted some ideas because sometimes the script was trying to be followed to hard and I just wanted to be like, "we know the outline now let's just shoot and see what happens from there".

I really need to work on acknowledging my lizard because I didn't know that was thing until this article put a name to it. I get put in that situation a lot of the time where that barrier to what I'm trying to get from my mind into art form is hard to do because of that resistance in my head.
